I enjoy public speaking. I don’t preach or offer my own opinions. Instead, I use stories and short case histories which I think my audience will enjoy and remember.
I’m currently offering five speaking topics. There’ll be more as things develop, but these are enough for me to handle at the moment:
- How to lose a pitch when you thought you were winning
- How to do business with the Chinese
- How to survive doing business with foreigners
- What happens when project management fails
- How to work with procurement
If any of these would be helpful to you and to your team or event, let me know: 00 44 7785 774207.
The Chinese story is especially unusual, and is based upon a Rolls-Royce Aero-Engines trade mission to China’s Third Ministry of Machine Building in Beijing. I was on this mission, and met Vice-Premier Wang Zheng who told me what China intended economically to achieve in the next fifty years. He is now dead, but the plan he outlined is very much alive and succeeding.
