If you’re running a small or medium size business, the answer is yes.

So how are you going to get ahead?

The best way is to get very close to your customers.

And that means getting to know them intimately. How useful to them are you? What are you doing well? And what are the areas where there’s room for improvement?

If you need help, you should seriously consider running a customer satisfaction survey.

I regularly conduct these, using a semi-structured questionnaire, for clients who know they don’t know enough. The cost is dependent upon the sample size and the length of questionnaire, but usually comes in at less than £1K, especially if conducted on the phone.

Former and current clients include Adestra, Knowles and Son, Fresh Media Group (now FMG), Computer Precision, Courtney-Thorne, and Workman.

Prices are negotiable and realistic.
